Our platform is for clients that are looking for skincare advice on everything from lifestyle changes, major life events and even creating a basic skincare routine. It also allows clients to ask any questions they have and get tailored advice and education from the comfort of their home and with recommendations in a price range they are comfortable with.
How do I know if I'm receiving the best possible recommendations in my virtual consultation?
Protea Skin Support Consultations are the only virtual consultations that are both brand agnostic and available with top tier licensed professionals that give tailored advice and recommend products based on their experience and expertise in the industry.
I'm an esthetician, how can I join?
Estheticians using our platform keep 100% of the rates they set for their consultations, ensuring that our community is beneficial not just to the customers, but also the licensed professionals. Estheticians pay a monthly membership fee to access our comprehensive platform and business support. We believe in empowering estheticians through business, so they can focus on virtually supporting clients through the career they love!

Do you accept skincare product returns?
We do - if you're not feeling the product after 30 days please email skinconfidence@bookprotea.com and we will assist you with your return & refund.
Regardless of returns, Protea still donates a SkinConfidence™ kit to an unhoused woman for each product purchase. We appreciate any product or company feedback be sent to skinconfidence@bookprotea.com.
Where are your products made?
Our products are formulated in Oregon by one of the top manufacturers in the US. This particular manufacturer's quality control measures sealed the deal for us, and not to mention they also formulate for Nordstrom and Ulta products.
How long do your skincare products last?
The shelf life of our products is 12 months, however with regular usage you can expect them to last up to three months.
What is MSM?
One of the most "bang for your buck" ingredients in our Slumber Serum. Methyl-sulfonyl-methane (MSM) is a fancy name for organic sulfur. MSM is a gentle way of reducing puffiness, swelling, and discoloration associated with acne, eczema, and sensitive skin.
How do unhoused women get SkinConfidence Kits?
Through community partnerships, volunteers, and giving whenever there is a need even when that means stopping on the side of the street.

How can I get involved in your organization?
We're working on a donation drive program, so stay tuned! For now you can get involved by spreading the word and purchasing a donation SkinConfidence kit through our site. This allows us to donate each kit that is purchased to a women's organization that supports women without housing or a specific woman without housing.
Why am I charged for sales tax?
We collect sales tax in the states in which the law requires our business to. These states include: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, IL, MA, MD, MI, MN, NJ, NV, NY, PA, SC, TX, VA, VT, and WA. This list is subject to additions to include all states in the US that have sales tax.
